“Sandy Rogers began her dog training career in 1989 with an apprenticeship under Patricia (Pat) Cook at Companion Dog Training, which in 1990 became one of the first schools to offer agility training in California. Currently Sandy counsels pet owner with behaviorally challenged dogs and teaches pet and competition obedience as well as agility. Sandy founded ACE Dog Sports in 1999. ACE Dog Sports presently has three instructors teaching people how to handle their dogs to a variety of goals.
Sandy has been published and featured in Clean Run magazine and has been seen competing in agility on the Animal Planet, PAX, and NBC. She has three USDAA Agility Dog Champions in three different height divisions (12″, 16″, and 22″). All three dogs are also High in Trial obedience dogs. Sandy’s dogs have placed in the top five in the USDAA Grand Prix Finals five times. In 2007, Brink won the 16″ Performance National Standard and Speed Jumping National Championships.
Beyond the pride in her accomplishments with her dogs, Sandy is very proud of the success of her students; she knows that success comes in all shapes and sizes.”
